Snail’s Mind

'Snail's Mind' is a stopmotion animation done by layering numerous charcoal drawings. It is focused around human psychology, especially in relation to paranoia. The main character snail wakes up in a locked empty room surrounded by doors. He tries opening the doors but is swamped by a wave of water leading him to a window. As he knocks on the window the scene zooms out making the audience relaize that it was all happening inside of his head. I wanted to create an animation that everyone in modern society can relate to. We all experience mental challenges but have difficulties opening them up to other people. Hence, I wanted people to watch my animation and consider it as emotional junk tape.
